FUNCTION: Collect and process payments payable to GEUS. Maintain a professional and courteous relationship with customers as well as co-workers. Prepare various reports.  

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Provide friendly, prompt and efficient customer service

2. Collect and process payments from customers over the counter, through the mail and from the drive-through window

3. Calculate and return change when required by the payment method

4. Reconcile cash drawer and prepare bank deposits daily

5. Maintain adequate change denominations in the cash drawer and request additional change as needed

6. Operate desktop computer, calculator, copy machine, printer and money counter 

7. Regular attendance and punctuality are essential job functions  

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

1.  High school diploma or equivalent with additional formal education beyond high school desirable

2. 2-4 years related experience performing administrative, clerical or office support responsibilities in a similar office environment

3. Strong customer service skills

4. Attention to detail

5. Ability to stand for long periods of time  

PHYSICAL EFFORT: Approximately 15% sitting, 50% standing, 30% moving about and 5% lifting/moving objects; occasionally lifts from floor to knuckle items, weighing 10 pounds  

Pay Rate:  DOQ plus
